Solution:
Let B=(a,b) and A=(βa,βb). Then
4a2+7aβ1=b and 4a2β7aβ1=βb
Subtracting gives b=7a, so 4a2+7aβ1=7a. Thus
a2=41β and b2=(7a)2=449β
SO
AB=2a2+b2β=2450ββ=52ββ
